Destinations: Lao Cai Province  At an elevation of 1,600 meters, Sapa is a delightful former French hill station situated in the mountainous region of Vietnam's northwest, close to the Chinese border. The region is home to many ethnic minority groups, each wearing unique traditional and colourful attire. This trip includes a trek through the hills and valleys in the Sapa region where we will meet several different minorities and stay as guests in the charming and hospitable Red Dao and Tay villages. Often there is no electricity or running water and in some cases bedding can be a layer of straw covered with a mat. |

Cao Bang is located in Vietnam's rugged North near the Chinese border. It is home to nine different ethnic minorities including the Tay, Nung, Dao and Hmong. This exciting new trek brings us in to contact with several of these fascinating and colorful peoples. We spend 4 full days exploring the dramatic countryside in and around Cao Bang and are the guests of the Tay and Red Dao tribes. 
Tourists flock to this charming city surrounded by lakes and pine trees. The Old French atmosphere of the city is contrasted by the surrounding mountain highlands. Not far from Dalat City, travelers can witness magnificent waterfalls and other natural landscapes. Dalat is a paradise for those who love the natural world.
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Ha long Bay is one of Vietnam’s most spectacular natural wonders. The tiny limestone islands are dotted with many beaches and grottoes created by the wind and the waves that provide an excellent backdrop for swimming or just lazing about from the deck of our luxury boat.
